PGA Frisco adds an Austin-style beer garden and lounge with indoor/outdoor spaces and simulated golf. Collaboration between PGA, Omni Hotels, Frisco city, and Frisco ISD, according to a CultureMap Dallas article which reports,
“PGA Frisco, the golf-themed entertainment district located in, yes, Frisco, is welcoming two new dining concepts, including a buzzy Austin-style beer garden and a lounge.
Located at 3255 PGA Pkwy., they offer a casual, indoor/outdoor venue, to as well as indoor space featuring simulated golf.
PGA Frisco is the public/private partnership between the PGA of America, Omni Hotels & Resorts, the City of Frisco, and the Frisco Independent School District. The campus includes golf courses, Omni hotel, and the Monument Realty PGA District, an entertainment and retail zone.”
The Ice House is a casual beer garden with Texas-sized frozen drinks, draft beers, BBQ, and games. It’s a family-friendly space to relax, enjoy food, and have fun, according to an FSR Magazine article. They say,
“Ice House is a casual indoor/outdoor beer garden featuring Texas-sized frozen drinks, ice-cold draft beers, smokehouse barbeque, burgers and more. The expansive outdoor area features cornhole and other yard games as well as six bays of live ball flight that opens up to the driving range.
Executive Chef of the Monument Realty PGA District, Adam Solowitz says, “Ice House is a space meant for families and friends to kick back and relax, play games, sip on cold drinks and enjoy delicious food meant to be shared. Our in-house smoked meats from our in-house pitmaster are the focus of our menu along with frozen margaritas, spiked iced tea and lemonade and cold draft beers.”
Guests at the Ice House can enjoy yard games, hitting bays with Toptracer technology, and beautiful views of the driving range. The venue is open for lunch and dinner every day.
