UNIQLO plans to open its first Texas stores in Houston and Dallas, along with new locations in California, as part of its North American expansion to reach 200 stores by 2027, according to a PR Newswire article. As per the report,
“UNIQLO will open its first stores in Texas in Houston and Dallas, and extend its west coast presence, including new cities San Diego and Sacramento, this Fall/Winter. In total, the brand will open 11 new stores across Texas and California, a significant portion of the 20+ new store openings planned for North America in 2024. The upcoming store openings will build on UNIQLO’s ambitious store growth plan to reach 200 stores in North America by 2027, focusing on regions with existing brand presence and new markets across the country.”
The clothing company announced five new Texas stores, including Galleria Dallas, The Parks Mall at Arlington, and Stonebriar Centre in Frisco, opening fall 2024, according to a CultureMap Dallas article. It reports,
“A Japanese retailer known for its casualwear fashion lines is expanding into Dallas-Fort Worth. Called Uniqlo, the company will open five new stores in Texas, with three in the Dallas area and two in Houston.
The Dallas stores will open in the following locations:
Galleria Dallas
The Parks Mall at Arlington
Stonebriar Centre in Frisco
According to a release, they’ll open in fall 2024.”
Founded in 1984 in Hiroshima, Japan, Uniqlo, transformed from a suiting store by Tadashi Yanai, now boasts 2,400 global locations. It debuted in the U.S. in 2005 and plans six new California stores in 2024.
