Downtown Dallas’ Wild Salsa reopens on June 27 after a 3-year closure due to the pandemic. The CEO kept hope alive, according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say,
“Downtown Dallas restaurant Wild Salsa will open on June 27, 2023, for the first time in about three years and three months.
The restaurant has been closed since mid-March 2020, when dining rooms shuttered for safety precautions at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. CEO Nafees Alam has been saying for years that the restaurant was hibernating, not dead.
But was it — really? We asked again and again and again while the restaurant remained vacant and dark.”
Their downtown Dallas location at 1800 Main St. reopens after being closed since March 2020. Renovated and with new hours, 4-10 pm, Tuesday–Saturday, according to a CultureMap Dallas article which reports,
“Their location at 1800 Main St. has been closed since March 2020. According to a release, they’re reopening with a renovated kitchen, interior, and patio, and will be open Tuesday–Saturday, 4–10 pm.
Wild Salsa debuted in 2011. Their location at 1800 Main St. was their first.
They followed that with Wild Salsa Fairview which opened in 2015, and which also closed during the pandemic but re-opened in 2022; and Wild Salsa Fort Worth, which opened in 2017 and which is still closed but will re-open in the fall. So complicated.”
After a challenging period, Wild Salsa reopens on June 27, 2023, at 1800 Main St., Dallas. CEO Alam expresses anticipation for joyful returns.
