Texans can soon savor Tim Hortons’ delights, renowned for coffee and delectable offerings. The new 1,640 sq ft restaurant, at an estimated cost of $900,000, adds Canadian flavor to North Texas, according to a Local Profile article which says,
“North Texas will soon be able to enjoy the delicacy of Tim Hortons. The Canadian multinational fast-food restaurant is known for its focus on coffee, baked goods, donuts and sandwiches.
A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration shows that Tim Hortons is set to utilize a space spanning 1,640 square feet. The anticipated cost for the construction of the new quick-service restaurant is approximately $900,000.”
Houston restaurateur Emad Lakhany, set to open Tim Hortons in Coppell, aims for a mid-2024 launch. The global coffee chain expands its Texan presence, with more DFW locations planned, according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say,
A Houston restaurateur, Emad Lakhany, who is opening the franchised location in Coppell, told the Journal that the coffee shop is expected to open mid-2024.
The coffee chain was founded in the 1960s and now has thousands of locations around the world, but its first Texas location opened in Katy, near Houston, in 2022. Nicolas Henrich, former Tim Hortons head of U.S. development, told The Dallas Morning News in 2022 that several locations are planned for the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
