Dallas taco chain Taco Joint opens its first branch in Heritage Creekside in Plano and it will feature the best tacos in town according to a CultureMap Dallas article which reports,
“Taco Joint, the Dallas taqueria chain, has opened its first location in Collin County at 1300 W. Plano Pkwy., in Rosewood Property Company’s Heritage Creekside in Plano.
It has all of Taco Joint’s signature features including a large patio, creative murals, famous breakfast tacos, and daily deals during the week, including happy hour weekdays from 3-7 pm.”
And of course, both the president of the Heritage Creekside and one of the partners of Taco Joint expressed their delight and excitement according to a Plano Magazine article. They say,
“A carefully curated restaurant and retail mix is a key aspect of Heritage Creekside being a great place to visit, work and live,” Rick Perdue, the president of Heritage Creekside developer Rosewood Property Company, said. “With Taco Joint now officially open, its bold flavors add another unique experience to our tenant roster.”
“We are very proud to open this new location, especially during today’s challenging market,” Taco Joint partner Corey McCauley said. “We are a neighborhood brand, so we feel like this is a wonderful opportunity to bring Taco Joint to Plano and the surrounding communities. We are excited for our General Manager Tadd Mansilla to serve new local customers and get plugged into the neighborhood.”
Accordingly, there will be two more Taco Joints to open in North Texas and the Plano location is the sixth in DFW.
This is the sixth DFW area Taco Joint, and the first one to call Collin County home. Two more North Texas locations are slated to open in the next six months. The new Plano outpost will feature happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and breakfast tacos all day.
