Hospitality veteran Kim Forsythe debuts The Rayleigh Underground, an innovative dinner theater at Toyota Music Factory, blending classic theater with Pacific Rim cuisine for up to 1,000 guests, according to a CultureMap Dallas article. They say,
“A unique dinner theater from a hospitality veteran has opened at Toyota Music Factory in Irving: Called The Rayleigh Underground, it’s a combination theater, restaurant, and bar from Kim Forsythe, CEO of Restaurant Expert Management, whose other concepts include Sambuca in Plano.
According to a release, The Rayleigh promises to offer a contemporary twist on classic theater, with a capacity of 1,000, coupled with a restaurant serving Pacific Rim cuisine.”
After 30 years in the music-and-food scene, Kim Forsythe opens The Rayleigh Underground, a vast venue for immersive experiences near Toyota Music Factory, featuring diverse entertainment options, according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say,
“More than 30 years after Kim Forsythe opened the first Sambuca jazz bar and restaurant in Deep Ellum, he’s still in the music-and-food business, now with a new dinner theater named The Rayleigh Underground in Las Colinas.
The Rayleigh opened Dec. 12, 2023, near Toyota Music Factory. It gets its Underground name because the 38,000-square-foot, two-story venue was dug underneath the lawn at Toyota Music Factory. Crushed white limestone walls and no windows give it an insular feel, even though the restaurant and music venue is giant in size. The Rayleigh Underground will be a place to hear a full band perform, but Forsythe says other immersive experiences could happen here, like art shows, acoustic sets, corporate events, football watching parties, TED Talks and comedy shows.”
A Dallas local with 32 years in hospitality, Forsythe emphasizes The Rayleigh Underground as an architectural and entertainment marvel, promising trend-setting menus and exceptional service.
