A new restaurant in Uptown is ready to serve customers with its bird-themed menu, according to a Paper City article from September 23, which reports,Â
FireBird Fowl is a meat-forward restaurant focused on bird proteins like chicken and turkey.
They also offer a few more adventurous options like duck, emu, ostrich, and Texas quail. A few menu highlights include emu fajitas, orange pepper duck tacos, The FireBird sandwich (Nashville Hot Chicken), and Cornish Game Hen Tikka Masala.
The menu is also replete with deserts and drink options according to an Eater Dallas article from September 22,
“The restaurant also features desserts from DizziBrands, including rum-soaked cheesecake, margarita key lime pie, cinnamon whiskey apple pie, 8 flavors of boozy popsicles and other alcohol-enhanced frozen treats, some with an ABV of 17%. In keeping with the theme, all of the wines at FireBird are also from bird-themed wineries, including Duckhorn, Decoy, and Blue Ostrich Vineyards.”
The restaurant dining area is divided into three parts which are cleverly given bird-themed names as well, according to a Dallas Morning News article from September 20, which observes,
“The two-story restaurant has been redesigned to feel slightly clubby, though FireBird Bowl’s co-owners intend for it to be more of a restaurant than bar. Upstairs is a bar called the nest; the air-conditioned and heated patio is the coop; and a corner table is the birdcage.”
Firebird Fowl is located at 2816 Fairmount St., Dallas. During their soft opening, only dinner will be served for the first few weeks. Their entire egg-citing bird menu is available on their website.Â
