“According to an article in KERA News, Meow Wolf is now hiring for its Grapevine location in Texas. The art and entertainment company is looking to hire 80 hourly workers who will be paid above Texas’ minimum wage. This is part of the company’s effort to provide livable wages in the arts industry, which has long struggled with earning disparities and pay equity.
Kelly Schwartz, general manager for Meow Wolf Grapevine, emphasized the importance of fair pay in the company’s mission. “By compensating employees fairly, Meow Wolf can promote a culture of respect and dignity for all workers. In summary, Meow Wolf’s dedication to paying a livable wage supports the well-being and success of its employees while contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive arts community,” Schwartz said.”
Meow Wolf’s Grapevine location will open this summer, with workers starting in June. Meow Wolf is famous for its imaginative art spaces and has locations in Santa Fe, Denver, and Las Vegas, with another permanent location set to open in Houston in 2024.
