McDonald’s unveils CosMc’s, a drink-centric concept, debuting in Bolingbrook, Ill. The expansion includes nine pilot locations in Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio by the end of 2024, according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say,
“McDonald’s is expanding its fast food empire with a new drink-centric concept called CosMc’s.
The first location of CosMc’s opens in Bolingbrook, Ill., on Dec. 8, 2023. But the company has big plans to bring the concept to Texas. By the end of 2024, they plan to open nine additional pilot locations in Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio, a spokesperson told The Dallas Morning News.”
McDonald’s CosMc’s debuts in Illinois this week, with plans for ten pilot locations in Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio by 2024, aiming to rival Starbucks and Dunkin’, according to an Ash Jurberg article which says,
“The first location opens in Illinois this week, and the company plans to open approximately ten CosMc pilot locations by the end of 2024. These locations will be in the Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio metro areas.
The move is a strategy to challenge Starbucks and Dunkin’ and boost afternoon sales.
