Kroger opens a fulfillment center in southeast Dallas which enables residents to get their groceries via Kroger Delivery according to a CultureMap Dallas article. They say,
“Dallas has scored another way to get food delivered with the opening of a new delivery service from Kroger. According to a release, the grocery chain has opened a new Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC) in southeast Dallas at 4221 Telephone Rd.
In a statement, Kroger VP and head of e-commerce Bill Bennett says the new service will bring fresh food and ingredients to our doorsteps.
The range extends all the way to Oklahoma City to the north and Austin and San Antonio to the south. The entire DFW Metroplex will be covered.”
The delivery service makes use of advanced robotics technology which enhances the customer experience according to a Specialty Food Association article. They say,
“Kroger has opened its newest fulfillment center in Dallas, Texas, which provides residents of the Dallas-Fort Worth area the ability to deliver groceries via Kroger Delivery. Powered by the Ocado Group, the facility improves customer experience through advanced robotics technology.
The grocer collaborated with the city of Dallas, the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and Tourism, as well as other local offices and school districts to source talent acquisition and development.”
Dallas residents can either order through the grocer’s website or app. Savings can be made through digital coupons and Kroger’s annual membership program.
