A popular Houston food market-cafe is opening its first Dallas location on McKinney Ave, specializing in home-style prepared foods, according to a CultureMap Dallas article which reports,
“A revered foodie emporium from Houston is expanding to Dallas: Tres Market Foods, a market-cafe which specializes in homey prepared foods done better than what you’d do at home, is opening its first location outside Houston, in a prime Dallas neighborhood straddling buzzy Knox Street and Highland Park.
The shop will be located at 4919 McKinney Ave., where McKinney Avenue and Harvard split off into a vee, in what was previously an employment office.”
Co-founded by two moms in 2001, it offers delicious home-cooked meals. The new location is at 4919 McKinney Avenue, Dallas, according to a CW33 article. They say,
“Founded in 2001 by two Houston moms, Julie Rhyne, and Jeannine Holland, the business will open in Dallas next year under Lauren Van Wagenen’s management.
The store will be located at 4919 McKinney Avenue, Dallas, TX 75205.
You can take home dishes like baked eggplant with marinara and feta, beef short ribs, and chicken pot pies.”
The dishes at Tres Market range from $18-60, with breakfast tacos and croissants available for grab-and-go. Dinner is prepared daily but not served on-site.
