Goldee’s Barbecue, ranked best in Texas in 2021, announces the expansion of Ribbee’s in South Fort Worth, sharing excitement and sneak peeks on social media, according to an NBCDFW article which reports,
“One of North Texas’ top-ranked barbecue restaurants is growing. Goldee’s Barbecue, which was ranked best in the state by Texas Monthly in 2021, is expanding and will soon open a new concept in South Fort Worth.
“Hey everyone, we have some exciting news to share!” the company said on social media Sunday, announcing Ribbee’s restaurant and sharing photos of ribs and sides along with a black and white photo of their new sign on East Seminary Drive.”
Goldee’s expansion, Ribbee’s, on Seminary Drive in Fort Worth, offers a unique twist—specializing in baby-back ribs, macaroni-and-cheese, and french fries, providing a distinct dining experience, according to a Fort Worth Star-Telegram article. It states,
“Ribbee’s, 923 E. Seminary Drive east of Interstate 35W in Fort Worth, won’t be a barbecue joint. It’ll just be a rib joint.
The new restaurant in a 50-year-old former Sonic Drive-In will serve only baby-back ribs five different ways, macaroni-and-cheese and french fries.
Ribbee’s will be different enough to give diners a reason to visit before or after a trip to Goldee’s, 8 miles down Business U.S. 287 at 4645 Dick Price Road south of Kennedale.”
As Ribbee’s prepares to open on Seminary Drive, owners express gratitude for the community’s support, anticipating five-day operations for lunch and dinner, a departure from Goldee’s schedule.
