A famous South African restaurant is ready to share its culture and cuisine to DFW according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say,
“South African-born restaurant Nando’s Peri-Peri has expanded to more than 1,500 locations across the globe since its debut in 1987, and now it’s coming to North Texas in late spring 2023.
The fast-casual restaurant is known for its flame-grilled chicken, spicy sauces and colorful interiors. The first Dallas-Fort Worth location will be a 2,800-square-foot space at Village on the Parkway in Addison.
“We can’t wait to welcome Nando’s first-timers and the many North Texas loyalists who have rallied to bring the brand here,” John Fisher, CEO of Nando’s Peri-Peri, said in a prepared statement. “Dallas is an important city in our future, and we’re excited about opportunities for growth in this market.”
Nando’s began 35 years ago with its first location in Johannesburg, South Africa, and it came to the U.S. in 2008 with restaurants in Washington, D.C., and beyond. The Addison location will be its first in North Texas.”
The restaurant’s menu will feature their famed chicken and their sauces which have been in the Dallas market for quite some time already.

Together with La La Land Kind Cafe and Asian Mint, Nando will be located at the Village in Addison as a high-profile restaurant.
