Bob’s Steak and Chop House opens its first location with a cigar bar in McKinney’s District 121 development, featuring founder Bob Sambol’s classic menu and a secluded lounge, according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say,
“The first Bob’s Steak and Chop House with a cigar bar opens June 2, 2023 in McKinney’s District 121 development.
Founder Bob Sambol sees the secluded cigar lounge as “a strong selling point” for the steakhouse.
“Bob’s needs to evolve, not change,” he says of the steakhouse he started 30 years ago on Lemmon Avenue in Dallas. That restaurant is still there, still serving filet mignon with potatoes and a carrot, and Bob himself is often standing near the host stand. Bob’s has grown to 15 locations, and the new restaurant in McKinney is the sixth in North Texas.
The new Bob’s Steak and Chop House in McKinney’s District 121 offers the renowned menu, curated wines, and a stylish design with a dedicated cigar lounge, according to a Community Impact article which provides,
“The restaurant, located at 7220 SH 121, is the first restaurant to open in the District 121 development. The restaurant offers the same “time-honored menu” as its other locations, including steaks, seafood, baked potatoes and the steakhouse’s signature glazed carrot, according to a news release. The restaurant will also have a curated selection of wines, according to its website.
The new location is a 7,600-square-foot standalone building on the east side of the District 121 development. Studio 11 Design curated the restaurant’s design, including the dining and bar area as well as a cigar lounge.”
According to Kellie Sirna of Studio 11, Bob’s Steak and Chop House in McKinney promises a diverse dining experience, with its opening scheduled for June 2, 2023.
